On May 11th, 2021, REACH was awarded the Outstanding Community Service Award for our outreach and service to the Asian American community and beyond. Thank you to the Orange County Asian Committee and all the REACH officers who helped with the application and members who served over the past 10 years!

On October 19, 2013, on behalf of REACH of Central Florida, Frank Lau and Tiffany Tang presented the Ellison S. Onizuka Humanitarian Award to the new recipient, Mr. Harris Rosen.

Ellison S. Onizuka Humanitarian Award

In November of 2012, REACH of Central Florida was selected for the Ellison S. Onizuka Humanitarian Award, one of the five awards comprising the AACC Golden Dragon Awards.
The Ellison S. Onizuka Humanitarian Award is an award in honor of astronaut Ellison S. Onizuka, the first Asian American to reach outer space. This award recognizes an individual or group that has demonstrated the highest ideals of courage, selfless giving, sacrifice, devotion and persistence in a significant project or endeavor which has benefited, or will potentially benefit, the community. |
