The AAHC (Asian American Heritage Council) scholarship on November 3rd was located at the Downtown Orlando Library center. The scholarship awarded Asian American students for their scholarly habits. The students who participated in the event were required to write an essay as well as submitting a resume. The students ranged from all ages, from Elementary school students to High School students. The Asian American Heritage Council Student Achiever Award is given to Asian American students each year. Participants submit official documents and awards from their previous year. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards are given to grade levels in Elementary School and up. Documents must be official and package must be postmarked by the date listed. There are multiple categories of awards a student can win including Academic, Cultural preservation, and a recent addition of an Essay category. More details and criteria listed in the document below.
